I’ve been assured by several friends that they will happily eat my portion, as long as I participate in the hunt.

Which is the sort of community-based, inclusive solution I like best.

I love the idea of indiscriminately harvesting for food purposes those who consider veal an appropriate dietary option

Edit: its a little pot/kettle to those objectionable, no?

Edit: particularly non-fans of the notions of relative + absolute truth. Geeze, now where ever would that leave all those opposed?

I wonder how they can defend their own young avoiding a similar fate besides the fact “they’re human”

Person who blocks unions, severance pay and pay increases for workers at his companies at every opportunity. Who is also being sued in multiple courts for violation of current labour and discrimination laws thinks that he and other capitalists will usher in a utopia with high income for all…

    Details at 11.

I mean if you’re getting paid in company scrips, they can increase your income as often as they want! High income for all!

Of course high income doesn’t mean more purchasing power when everything else goes up too, but we don’t need to talk about that.

You load sixteen tons, what do you get?

Another day older and deeper in debt

History may not repeat but it sure does rhyme a lot…

I love hearing one of the guys who’s hogging up most of the world’s resources for himself telling us that somehow we’re going to get a bigger share. Yeah we will if someone takes it from the oligarchs and distributes it like we had in the middle of the 20th century. But he’ll be the first one kicking and screaming if someone tries it.

It certainly should, but parasites like Musk are the exact type of people that are preventing that

Feels like they omitted part of that statement, it should read “AI will create universal high income for people with high income already”

Maybe in a few hundred years when automated manufacturing is churning out low cost goods using the infinite resources found around the solar system (also gathered and processed by automated processes). But there’s no “age of jobless abundance” until the raw materials are so abundant that they’re effectively value-less. Which they are very much not, and won’t be in the lifetime of anyone currently living.

The worlds richest man needs to learn a lot of things, chief among them a little basic economics.

We’re on the verge of developing an automatic artist that can make your artistic visions a reality on canvas, no matter what they are… and we’re paywalling it and suing it out of existence instead of passing laws to ensure it’s available to everyone.
