infomaniak is the largest swiss cloud provider, they have multiple services which are domain related (purchase and management), cloud computing and more. They have a good reputation. They also have a swiss cloud certificated meaning they are able to host data in Switzerland and manage it from Switzerland. If you trust Switzerland for privacy, I think by extension you can trust them.
whether you’re right or not, it’s just so frustrating to imagine that something you may have been playing for another hundreds of hours is just totally unaccesible from now on… so frustrating and so unfair… Definitely worthy of a refund in my book.
Thanks for the follow up. I wish I could afford multiple TB of nvmes but that is unfortunately out of my budget, but it would definitely be better for latency, notice and power draw. This time I will have to stick to HDDs, but I’ll keep looking :) Enjoy your setup!
Thanks! I love that case, that’s what I use for my main server. In this case I was interested in a prebuilt, which may be easier to find and with all main components included and thus possibly cheaper. I updated my main point as I understand it may not have been obvious.

Thanks for the game! Now, I started Fallout 3 not long ago, is there any commonality to the story between the Fallout games? Are they following each other? Are they alternatives of the same story? Is it something else?
I’m guessing this technology requires specific implementation into the game? Nonetheless, it’s so great to see these kind of efforts very suitable for battery based laptops and handhelds, they fit perfectly this use case imo.
It’s so stupid of the developer to claim that gender neutrality is political. It really is not. It’s just about equally respecting everyone. I’m probably preaching to the choir though.
My number one gripe with organic maps is how fragile the search is. If you don’t write it exactly right, you get no or irrelevant results. Also, it seems to have no clue of what is popular and what people expect when they search for something. I’m not talking about personalized results but for example the following: searching for “Eiffel”, leads me to minor roads, restaurants and all kinds of results unrelated to the Eiffel tower. This is what is troubling me the most.
You might be better off waiting for a steam deck 2, possibly out next year?

Yes, actually it can be quite straightforward. What you are probably best off doing is requesting a google takeout and upload that takeout to Ente directly. I have not followed this process myself so I can’t say much about it but it is described here and is probably the easiest way to migrate:
I’m a customer and have moved over multiple family members, everyone seems happy. Their face recognition and smart search are still WIP, but they are impressively present, despite being all E2EE, by leveraging local processing. They are making very good progress.
