There are a lot of games in my library that are unfinished because I cannot bring myself to open the game and finish them. That’s usually caused by feeling like I’ve seen everything a game has to offer.
and that’s a perfectly good reason to not open a game. they’re supposed to be fun
Y’all are getting spare time?
when i’m able to muster the energy to not stay in bed doom scrolling. so about once a month
Sometimes I just don’t finish a game because I don’t wanna get that post-lifechanging story depression. Happens every time I find a game that I love. Currently needing to finish Dishonored 2 and Control
Both definitely worth finishing. Godspeed
i feel that. and usually i end up obsessed over finding anything that could distract me but everything feels like trash for a while so it’s a whole downward spiral
I just can’t bring myself to game more than an hour a day, really miss my younger self.
i saw a post once talking about how people think they had more energy when they were younger, but it’s actually because they now using more time and energy to take care of themselves. i’d like to believe that’s true
The need to finish my backlog is also something that fucks with my enjoyment of some games too. Understanding you’re allowed to put it down and never play it again is also valid. Go watch the synopsis on YouTube if it has one after.
When you get old you have way less time to slog through the mediocre games like you did as a child. They also get more apparent when you play nothing but primo games with mids in your favorite genres.
Sometimes, you just gotta enjoy your CoD, D4, PalWorld, LoL, Slice of Life, idle, etc. You don’t need the next best thing in gaming every time.
Fwiw I also watch a lot of Fully Ramblomatic since what feels like high school two decades ago lol.
Goat Simulator is one of those collecting dust in my library.
That’s an interesting one. I feel like you’d get a fun 5-10 hours out of it but it always kind of caps out there. I go back to it every few years and after an hour I’m just kind of like, oh yeah.
My backlog is bigger than my front log by far
But I want something else.
I really should finish the games i started
I didnt finish the core of the mountain in celeste, i planned to play the starlight river terraria mod but never did, i recently received dead cells for my birthday and i forgot about the sevtech ages Minecraft modpack after reaching the point where you could get oil and i gave up on my t1 only btd6 challenge
Instead of playing any of these, i play on a modded server that recently rebooted
