VANCOUVER — The leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia says as premier his government would pay to send people outside the province for health care and expand private clinics in an effort to fix a system "in crisis.
Our system is absolutely in crisis and my partner can’t wait more than a year to have a functional hip again (they’re currently wheelchair bound and not even sixty)… We’ll probably get private care abroad because like fuck are we going to fund local doctors running private clinics.
This is a funding issue - can these conservative fucks not see how absolutely shitty the US’s healthcare system is? I used to live under that system and you’d just ignore problems until they got really bad because health isn’t free.
We can do better, it absolutely will cost more than we’re spending now but it’s fucking worth it. Health is literally the one thing you can’t fucking skimp on if you want a good life.

Oh trust me they see it, they’re aware of it, but that shitty system is fantastic at lining pockets and that’s what they want in on. This is my no means meant as a benefit to people like you or I but a benefit to themselves, their party, and their “buddies” who just so happen to be owners of corporations or ceos of insurance companies or medical companies, etc, etc, etc.
