For all the communism understanders reading this thread: communists still want unequal pay for unequal jobs. The experts and hardest workers collectively owning twice as much as the average workers is acceptable to all of us and desired by some of us.
Our only demand is that you earn the money you generate, everyone earning the same is completely orthogonal and something anti-communists use to steer the conversation and misinform. It would be nice if we were more equal, but it’s not what we plan to further with our economic policy. We want everyone to own the means of production, and then you actually gotta do the production to turn that into money.
A complete excision of all overlap with USA culture.
Why did you name your instance .world?! 😭
Okay so you created a meme where you made someone say a popular opinion you disagree with. Then you made someone rebuttal with “You aren’t human” and the subject replying with “You got me”. What is the joke exactly? How should that be interpreted? Because I interpret it as “People who disagree with me aren’t humans”. Do you not see how that is both unfunny and offensive?
What does it take for you to label a Hitler a Hitler? You watch someone kill thousands of children based on racism and decide they’re not a Hitler?
Google Play get fined and the reward goes to Google Android.
Keep in mind this is information provided by the USA, so it’s completely untrustworthy. It’s possible this happened. It’s possible his phone automatically pulled an Instagram update and that’s close enough for their spin. And it’s possible this is completely fabricated.
You cannot trust them as a source when they need to vilify him.
I support the desire to add context the fact you did add. My only concern is that your phrasing comes off as saying the meme is ahistorical or dramatised, when it’s probably just the phrasing.
You say “correct” but you’re not contradicting the meme. The reading that “apartheid South African” is referring to the man rather than the mine is to me more intuitive. Even if it wasn’t it would be a possible reading, so I don’t think you should say you’re correcting the meme.
He also came with some pretty good receipts that appear to show .ml mods removing criticism of China that, whether you agree with it or not, didn’t seem to violate any rules, and was well within the bounds of what most people would consider civil discourse.
but what he showed seems legit, and I’m not sure he could have provided more evidence without encouraging brigading.
Based on just your link, it just kinda looks like he was posting unsourced gore. That doesn’t feel like civil discourse to me.
I don’t really see any criticism being removed. If Katana314’s message was congruent with reality it would count, but otherwise just making accusations isn’t criticism.
Firefox has ads. Very many ads. Out of the box, Firefox sends everything you type into the URL bar to a ‘search provider’. They also place traditional ads in the New Tab page, in the URL area chrome, and in your bookmarks. And probably other places I’m forgetting right now.

Why do you pronounce “le” as “el”?

I used to use Gnome with a tiled window manager. It was a good combo. Don’t see why they have to be exclusive. No hate from my side, KDE and Gnome are both incredible. I can spare some hate for the Gnome-haters though.

That’s very relatable, those weird Linux users always try to recommend operating systems to me, and Windows users never do because Windows isn’t a good operating system, so that’s why they wouldn’t.
Anyway, on the topic of operating systems, I find that FreeBSD works the best for my computing habits. I recommend you give it a try if you use a different operating system today.
