I actually haven’t used anything that makes use of the Deck microphones yet, do they work well for this?

Go into desktop mode, open the menu and use the search function to look for “Nested Desktop”. Now right click and add that to Steam. When you boot into Game mode, you’ll see a new item added called Nested Desktop, which you can open to access desktop mode while still in game mode. I found out about this a week ago and so far I use it most for referencing my digital game guides or searching NMS portal codes while still gaming.

Make sure to check out “Nested Desktop mode”, it’s a great way to have faster access while in the default Game mode

Yes, for three reasons.

1. I judge the color to be sure I’m not getting sick and it’s just a regular need to blow my nose.
2. I check for the presence of any blood, since I work around materials and in environments that can cause alot of dry air, giving me a higher incidence of nose bleeds.
3. My work environments are very dusty, and if Inhave alot of black or grey dust when I blow my nose, I know I need to clean my airways when I get the chance so the dust isn’t in there longer then a day.

My aunt only ever knew one thing about me, that I grew up liking Harry Potter. First I got all the books, split across two years. Then I got all the movies as they came out, up to the 5th one. It essentially is a replacement for a mouse, I set FreeCAD to use Blender input settings since I’m used to those. It’s one without a screen, just a USB that I use with a kickstand hub on my Deck. I picked it because it was cheaper then a screen style drawing tablet and it would help most with Blender for modeling organic sculpture. It was a simple plug-and-play, although the software to enable some extra features was available for Linux and was a snap to add. I experimented using it with FreeCAD and it’s pretty similar to using a mouse, so I don’t need both inputs taking up table space.

I use it for 3D modeling using a BT keyboard and a drawing tablet. Works great with Blender and FreeCAD both.

Mobile players do it on the go. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Read Era is technically free, but I paid for premium years ago and have never regretted it. I can open any kind of uncorrupted book file, from the Amazon reader format to PDF to epub, and everything else I’ve ever come across. It has a great search function, and the ability to file a book into a custom ‘Collection’. You can edit the details of a book, like adding Author or pusblisher info, add your own personal notes to a page or highlighted quote, see an aggregate of all your highlights in a particular file, and adjust the font, background color, and contrast to your hearts content.

I make my whole family use it now, cause I love it so much and Premium works on Family share.

Also expect some stringing, a little bit during printing is ok. Use a heat gun if you have one, or a blow dryer can work well as a replacement. The heat causes the thin strings to contact and they practically disappear as you watch. It’s pretty fun to do, and satisfying.

You know I still don’t understand the issue people have with this. Every bathroom I’ve been in either has stalls to use with urinals on the side and dividers between those for some privacy, or is only designed for one person at a time anyway. I can’t imagine having any issue with anyone of any gender in those types of bathroom, unless they where being clear creeps and trying to press an eye to a gap in a divide or something. Which isn’t solved by limiting the genders who can enter, it’s solved by building better dividers and not leaving gaps.

Get a few suitcases at Goodwill or something, stick a floppy and some ‘redacted’ papers in a red envelope, leave them in random places around town and observe what happens. Make sure to wear a trench coat and sunglasses when you ‘forget’ them at each drop point.

Sometimes I use the ‘crumbs’ for a small print, like model bases or tests. Other times I weld all the remainder together and run it like normal. (This works for me because I tend to print in the same color and material alot.) My other option is using these small amounts for my 3D pen, which I use to join parts together like a welder. It works really well for some of the dice towers I print that come as two or three parts, on seams that won’t show. I super glue the last joint so everything is solid and seamless to the eye.
