Glasses. The ability to see so much better than I otherwise could leaves me astonished every time I put them on.
I’m me, and happen to be just about everywhere

It wasn’t that hard for me to flash a Chromebook with Linux using this guide
I mean how could you say no to a doggo like that
I mean I guess. They aren’t actively fighting or anything like that to my knowledge. I personally think the Privacy Guides is the better resource, because PrivacyTools has vpn recommendations like Nord and Surfshark with affiliate links that are not actively disclosed from my quick check.
Try Brave Search, Duckduckgo, Startpage, or Searxng. For more detail on these recommendation (that I definitely did not just steal), check out the Privacy Guides page, or The New Oil for a different, albeit overlapping, set of recommendations and take on search engines.
This was in a VM, but I was running Ubuntu LTS to mess around with Nextcloud, maybe even save some data to it. I also installed Pihole and ran into an issue, so I uninstalled it. Apparently, when you uninstall Pihole, it also gives you the option to uninstall important system packages like ipconfig. Borked my install. I was freaking pissed.
!crusaderkings@kbin.social and !grandstrategy@lemmy.ml. I really want some more activity for CK3 and grand strategy on Lemmy like there is on Reddit. Oh plus my daily mander.xyz shout out.
I kind of regret making my account so early on the mainline instance, rather than on mander, beehaws, or elsewhere, but I still manage to stay relatively far away from the madness by just keeping subscribed to the right communities.
Shoutout to mander.xyz!
Why We Sleep. This book genuinely had me start caring about sleep.
I brush before eating. I cannot stand the taste of morning breath

I use “-” as the separator usually, but I think they are about equivilant
Same for Italian. Non ho mai senza la mia famiglia
I have a friend who’s name is Alexander. I call him Hamilton
The article says that they’ve been preparing for awhile, but they are now looking to start commercial service.
Waymo has had a small fleet of vehicles mapping the streets of LA since at least 2019, but it only began to make preparations for a commercial service in recent months. Aside from mapping, Waymo has been following its traditional playbook of deploying its vehicles in autonomous mode with a human safety driver behind the wheel before transitioning into a commercially available service.
It depends on what you’re looking for but it seems like they hang out on general servers like lemmy.ml or lemmy.world. The Lemmy Community Browser should help you look for any communities you want to find out more about.
We have the science folks over and mander.xyz and slrpnk.net. Lemmy.world also seems like a very diverse instance to star whatever you want on
That’s the big thing. Posting content consistently is key to the survival of communities like this one
