Oh no! I’m so cosy on mint, but now I’m eyeing Fedora and it looks snazzy, and maybe cyberpunk is a fun prospect too! :)

How odd! I must admit with cyberpunk, I was reading ProtonDB and had a “that’s one fine game… why doesn’t mine look like that!” Simpsons moment. 😅
Nice! Consider me doubly motivated to give it another go this weekend :)
I am indeed! I tried popping in the skip launcher commands from a few people on ProtonDB, and it seems to be rather grumpy with me 😅 I’ve read it could be the Phantom Liberty DLC being DRM’d, but not sure :)
Aw, I can’t get cyberpunk to run on my mint install - it gets the logos and stops responding.
Some people read about performance, sometimes I’m just motivated knowing someone on the internet did get a game running in the first instance! :)
I will say though, Baldurs Gate 3 works perfectly, as does anything else I throw at it! :)
I love them because of a sesame allergy! Worry free brioche for the me! :)
I had absolutely unplanned that pun, but I’m thrilled it’s there!😅 Thank you!
Yay! Glad you’re enjoying it so far :)
I can also say the past month or two rocking Mint have been a breath of fresh air, everything feels fast and I’ve only had one GOG game not run (think I could with some effort) :)
Even the Unity game engine works, and debugs, it’s lightyears ahead of my previous goes at Mint over the years (and they only “ended” because of needing music software for college and uni!)
Hope it continues to treat you well! Also you may wish to indulge in the greatest Linux feature I know, which is Wobbly Windows - it makes your windows wobbly when dragged, which is very enjoyable for reasons I am not sure of! :)
Great game! Really fun story and gun physics :)
Now that just sounds blissful! I legit plan to try this
It was in fact a protest because dinner would take an hour and a yorkshire pudding fell out its bag while I was rummaging in the freezer! I needed sustenance and gravity obliged, it would have been rude to deny my destiny. 😊
I am sure that my sacrifices and heroism in a trying time are just what any other normal, sane person would have done… I should think probably I guess
Frozen yorkshire puddings with raisins inside. A bit of sweet, a bit of cronch.
I am aware of what I have said, and stand by my poor life choices that led to this brilliant discovery.
Oh my gosh I’ve not saved a post quicker! This is something I’ve wanted to do for ages! :) Thank you
What the flip?! That’s fantastic! :) Thank you, if you have more of these I’d love to learn more.
Thank you! :) Greetings from looks fun and also useful! :)
Oh fantastic! :) Thank you, next playthrough I will get things going on Linux in that case, as that’s new to me! :) Like a fool I tried nexus mods vortex in Wine initially because I didn’t know better!
I can second this! For me it meant that I could finish my game of modded fallout new vegas, and connect to my work’s microsoft vpn nonsense (IT support didn’t fancy trying it on Mint but that’s another story!)
I now have a personal OS that I like, and a windows partition for those few things that I can’t be bothered to troubleshoot.
So far the list is just those things and the Unity Engine as Visual Studio debugs better than code in my experience. :)
Having the option to flick back is great :) In the XP days, I loved the WUBI(?) tool that let you install ubuntu dual boot as an exe, but I think that’s not a thing these days., :)
Heck yes! Earthbound! One of those games I felt was made perfectly to my taste :) funny, quirky, slightly uncomfortable… All great. :)
Signed the guestbook :)
I think it could do with a very literal under construction image, with some sort of machinery- every website seemed under construction at the time!
Thank you! This is going to sound daft, but I had forgotten steam allows you to uncheck DLC like that! :) it’s so rare that I’d opt-out (in fact this might be the only time I have needed to!) :) thank you again
