Remember this for the rest of your lives, the Russians are running AT LEAST thousands of bots that can be on virtually every site known to man, everything they say will push the Russian propaganda. Now, with that horrible knowledge… Add to it that that is just Russia and that China, North Korea and Israel to only name a few are all known to be doing the same. The Internet is a VERY different landscape than it was less than a decade ago.

My friends and I can always find 50 other apps for voice chatting, texting and screen sharing. What pisses me off royally is the thousands of companies/groups that decided instead of making forums or websites or GitHub pages, they would just host EVERYTHING from within Discord’s walled garden.
Used it for over a decade, finally stopped and am just using Ublock now, it’s so nice not having to open the menu for every new website to find the scripts that need allowed to make the site work.
Facebook has spent millions figuring out how to make your feed as divisive and confrontational as possible. I don’t think it’s had a good outcome for humanity and I think it’s more in the powers-that-be’s hands than the above person thinks it is.
I considered the fact that tax fraud is basically allowed right now, but I’m somebody that gets a return so it wouldn’t make sense for me to not file. The taxes the guy you’re replying to is referring to were taken out of my paycheck without my choice, it’s not like I happily and willfully put money into an envelope every quarter to send to the government, and this isn’t a fantasy world where I can just choose to not work.
Ignorant American here, I don’t care if you hate us, if you can do something to stop this, you might have less resistance than you expect. I know everyone wants to pretend every country is a monolith and act like everyone in the entire country supports their government, even though this is universally untrue; but the reality is that only a chunk of Americans voted and only roughly half of that chunk voted for that orange piece of shit.
