  • Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, I’m not super up to date on cameras in phones. Top android contenders would probably be Samsung, Pixel, and Sony. So I’d probably look at photo comparisons from there.

I like reviews from Mr. Mobile and TheUnlockr when it comes to camera comparison, as they usually put up a two or four way comparison of the top brands.

As far as coming from iOS, photos depends on both the lens and the software, if you like iPhone photos, that’s not to say you won’t like another, but they’re not going to look exactly like that because different companies use different processing in the background.

  • This is a skip for me. I’m more excited for the future with hopefully actual custom chips. My P7P is doing fantastic. Normally I’m the kind of person that likes to change my phone every year, I’ve had no inkling of wanting to do that this time around.

With that said, the pixel fold might be what I switch to once they reach maybe gen 3? I enjoyed my galaxy fold 3, but one ui just wasn’t for me.

  • It’s pretty game dependent, but when capped at 40 fps you can get away with lower power draw because it’s less demanding on the hardware to run at 40 vs 60.

I do this with lots of games, cap somewhere between 40-50hz depending on how demanding the game is, then find the lowest tdp I can run with the game still having a stable frame rate. Great way to save on battery life.
