I see ads all the time now using various famous actors voices for spamming scammer crap. If someone didn’t know better they would absolutely think these actors were shilling the stuff.

Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice. Played it with headphones as many suggested. I had recently lost my uncle, who by the time he died, was in a pretty bad state mentally. Seeing and hearing things that weren’t there. Everyone out to get him. Calling to say the cops were trying to break into his home. No one was there.
He was a good guy and incredibly funny. Introduced me to the greatness of Monty Python at a young age. He was getting some better help near the end, finally. In part because he finally was accepting help.
He was a Vietnam vet, and from what everyone told me came back changed like so many did. This, in part, led to drug use that spiraled him down. Much better handled than some as he always held a job and such.
But the game made me think of what he might have been experiencing, and it was overwhelming for me. I think I stopped a third of the way through. It is very well done, but I just couldn’t deal with it.
We know she is pink because we have faith.
I’m with this. Unless it is about work, let people believe what they want. Or else you end up discussing a lot of stuff like religion and politics in a place it doesn’t need to be.
I’m reminded of Leland Yee. California politician who was in favor of gun control all while doing gun running stuff himself. Guess he felt gun control was good for business.
Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to respond with more info.
I wasn’t expecting much so no worries and not expecting anything soon. I’ve seen these things for a couple decades now. But this one is interesting. So again thank you.
Over the years you learn to pick and choose which ones to even read about.
My favorites are when actual new meds are introduced to patients and the majority of the article talks about how much money they expect it to make for the pharmaceutical company.
I asked for a bit more info as well before I saw this response. Thanks.
What phase 2 specifically if you don’t mind sharing? They mention in this article starting with a phase 1 for celiac and then a phase 1 for MS.
I’ve also seen so many of these over a couple decades now. I have RA and MS and often times while hope can be important. As Red said, hope is a dangerous thing and can drive a man insane.
I’m a fan of the word Cunt as a term of endearment after having a few online friends from Australia over the years. Shame you can’t really use it much in the states in such a way.
Aren’t many of the hard copies for games now still needing huge downloads? Even to the point where some there is no data on the disc, only the key that says you own it?
It doesn’t happen often, but I do this for people in my life occasionally as well with online. I type out a whole response that I would want to say. Then I delete it without sharing it. It is often enough for me to realize it just doesn’t matter and it is better to move on.
This reminds me when you google if a certain company or product is good or legit and the top one is posted from the companies website.
While I’m not a fan of many of these things, it locked behind a one time fee is better than these subscription models many are coming out with.
I use it several times a week usually. But I use it almost exclusively docked. I got mine to be a bridge to a newer laptop or pc. I have an old gaming laptop that I primarily would just hook up to a TV. I play almost all games with a controller if I can.
So it works like the Switch for me. I can easily move it from the living room tv to the bedroom if I want.
But did it turn out to be a cool game?
Must have been updated because I downloaded it after this post and I have arrows. But the screens on the app store did show thumbs.
Not who you asked, but I find myself turning it off more often than not. I just never see it as adding much to my experience. I tend to notice it more as annoyance more than anything else.
