This is all just semantics and how the word ‘opposite’ can be applied in different ways. I wouldn’t spend too much time on this.
Just a silly feller

Yeah, I did something for work where I had to study up about it and instead of being angry it’s just kind of a fun fact. I don’t actually mind what people say, I think everyone understands what you mean regardless.
I am the guy in the middle, except I’m telling people it’s octopuses.
The comments are funny but if you read the article he just did it for the bit. Apparently he changed quite a bit over that time and regretted being an angry forum nerd, so he thought it would be funny to do one last post and abandon the account.
Yes, I agree. I’m trying to rid myself of as much as I can, but unfortunately it’s not always practical.
I actually don’t hate onedrive that much. I’ve used it for a while now and it’s one of the best ways to just share a folder with some people very easily. And they can even use the desktop app and you can all have a cloud synced folder, it’s really convenient for collaborating on projects. I know other things can do this, but few do it as seamlessly.
That said I’m trying pretty hard to ditch it because I hate how Microsoft are just making it the default behaviour without really making it apparent that all your documents just get uploaded to their servers. I hope proton drive gets the features I need soon,.
There’s one guy in my little group of friends who is an unapologetic hugger, even though the rest of us don’t really hug he’ll always hug everyone goodbye. I’d say it’s possible some guys don’t enjoy it, but I actually really appreciate it about him, it’s nice getting a hug and sometimes I really need one.
For anyone who really doesn’t like it they can always offer their hand first, but on behalf of all the guys who need a little affection from their buds sometimes I wanna say thanks for being there for the friends who need it. Even if they never say so I’m sure some of them appreciate it.
If you imagine the log as someone laying down with their head furthest from you and they are looking up at you. It stands out quite a bit to me but I have bad eyes and am tired.
edit:
is that creepy face I see intentional? Lovely shot either way.
I guess it is quite striking, it’s a shame any are killed under bad conditions.
For those unaware, the usual process is something like this: graphic video warning
Animal agriculture kills something like 200 million chickens a day. They all live short miserable lives anyway, this hardly stands out to me.
I’ve been registered for a while now. I really don’t see a good reason not to, they only take 'em if I’m dead and what good are they to me then? Better going to someone in need.
I see a cougar in the top of the wave.
So many posts perfectly summarising why I’ve always preferred the reddit format over twitter. On one you follow topics, on the other you follow people. I prefer to hear a wide range of views on one topic rather than one persons views on different topics.
Yeah, for art it’s similar, you can get some really compelling results, but once tasked with creating something a bit too specific it ends up wasting your time more than anything.
There’s definitely uses for it and it’s really cool, but I don’t think it’s as close to replacing professionals as some people think.
I’m not sure why you’re being downvoted. I don’t think the current technology is going to replace programmers or artists any time soon (speaking as someone who works as an artist and programmer in a field that monitors ai and its uses) but I also acknowledge that my guess is as good as yours.
I don’t think it’s going to replace artists because as impressive as the demos we all see are, inevitably, whenever I’ve done any thorough testing, every AI model fails at coming up with something new. It’s so held back by what it’s trained on, that to contemplate it replacing an artist - who are very capable of imagining new things - seems absurd to me.
Same with programming - ask for something it doesn’t know about and it’ll lie and make something up and confidently proclaim it as truth. It can’t fact check itself and so I can only see it as a time saving tool for professionals and a really cool way for hobbyists to get results that were otherwise off the table.
Charging people for their own cells, too!
And reduce the amount of lanes from 10 to 9? You’re crazy, there’s no way it’ll work.

I hate how quickly “AI” has been adopted for tasks it is wholly incapable of doing well, merely fast.
Actually I think I get what you’re saying now and I think you have a point. I am not sure the two can be directly compared that way, though. There are different reasons for why people think each is bad once they hear the name and I don’t think the meme is actually saying that this is an argument for or against anything. Just a funny observation.
