On the point of Samsungs, maybe dont get them. They have the worst battery management of any android phone out there. Thats even after detailed usage management on the user’s part. I.e. turning off GPS/Bluetooth, deleting and disabling bloatware.

Lesser known brands like Sony and Motorola have mid range phones with excellent battery life.

There’s probably good stuff on SEA, Astrum, PBS Spacetime? even Cool Worlds. To a lesser extent perhaps even John Michael Godier or Isaac Arthur have lots of good information because even though they are Sci-fi channels, they do hard sci-fi, so all based on established science and astronomy.

I’d caveat that with watch reliable well researched channels and not pop-sci or even god forbid pseudoscientific, or pseudo-intellectual channels that seem helpful but are actually BS wrapped in foil.

Any of the PBS science channels are typically good for science.

How money works, Wendover, are great for Economics stuff.

The engineering mindset, practical engineering are great for engineering related stuff.

Couldn’t someone mess with the WiFi or network itself? I’m just figuring someone who doesn’t secure the WiFi is someone who’s going to leave admin passwords on the default and they’d be able to mess with the network settings just enough to bring the system to a halt.

Hey I’d settle for 10 million likes on YouTube… In views alone thats worth like $100k in ad revenue. But given that likes are typically only 10% of viewership, that means a video liked by 10 million probably has 100 million views. Which is about $1 million in ad revenue for just that video, assuming a low end payout of $0.01 per view.

This is maybe why democracy in its current state is flawed.

When pandering to the masses will allow you to get them to vote against their best interests. Perhaps people need to pass some sort of simple test before being able to vote and maybe rules in place against convicted felons running for office of any kind…
