  • Well this is different from my experience … my whole working life I’m accused of being the antisocial one because I’m not tripping balls at everyone in the morning.

There I was sipping coffee and desiring my space for contemplation… and that is the ‘norm’?

    I feel seen.

  • Could kinda see it frustrating for a group of people surrounded by fire though looking at the equipment that was just sitting there. They are feeling the end of the world a lot more than people who aren’t there and just saying “don’t”.

That’s just cruel and inhumane. Manipulative even. Like a science experiment on behaviour and then acting disappointed someone is going to try to save their own life despite your disapproval. And then still talk like your disapproval about them is the priority for everyone to consider more than their own life.

  • Sure.

Though tbf sandwiches are the easiest thing to make. Why people are getting something that costs under 4 dollars to make at home in under ten minutes and instead pay to have it made for 13$ and then complain about it but then keep going back is very bizarre to me. You’re paying a buck a minute for someone to slap separate, non cooked ingredients together for you. That’s 60 dollars a minute to just throw pieces of food into another form.
And you’re not even staying at subway to eat it. People get it to go and eat it anywhere else they could bring their home sandwiches to.

  • The Roiland DV case is very different from the depp/heard defamation case.

1: the Roiland case was about whether or not he was found to be committing DV. and it was inconclusive evidence. He might not be found guilty but he’s also not found innocent.

2: His accuser was not to be found guilty of perjury. the case was about finding evidence of DV. Not perjury of his accuser. the depp/heard case was explicitly about what heard gave to the media is what she was found guilty of.

3: Roiland and his accuser didn’t sign a non-disparagement claus. and his accuser didn’t then go talk to Washington post without any conclusive evidence on the outcome of the case. And probably a good thing roiland didn’t sign such a non-disparagement claus as he did post misinformation meant to publicly harm his accuser with that misleading Twitter post about what his case was actually about.
