I mean, personal opinion here, no one should be giving EA money anyway…
Half is a bit conservative. For non news/politics stuff, it’s a fraction that has anything to do specifically with the USA. If it’s news/politics related it’s well over 75%
My wife has had the same rule, then we moved, now I’m the lender, not the borrower. This means I have an excuse for buying new tools. That and my current job and side jobs are requiring some specific tools that I don’t already own.
I used to live next to a guy who did site visits for snap-on. I’ve got a bunch of swag, and I didn’t pay for it, and I don’t own any of their tools!
🤣🤣 “for a North American automatic covered wagon” the fucking mental gymnastics…jfc…
The reason it’s there, that 9/10 of a cent or pence or w.e is the same reason why lot’s of prices are $XX.99. It seems like it’s a lot cheaper than the 1 cent or 1/10th of a cent that it actually is. For fuel specifically, it started to be added so that gas stations could pay new taxes implemented in 1934(USA), but still make a profit. Back then the cost/gal of fuel was pennies, so adding a full cent to the cost to cover those taxes was deemed a deal breaker, since sometimes it would be ½-¼ 1/10 the cost of the gallon.
But overall it came up short
Know what was actually really, really good?
The tie in podcast. Great production value, great voice actors, and really great story, character development and pacing!
I grab Calisto Protocol off Epic, but only because it’s free. I watched some reviews and gameplay footage, and it’s…kinda meh. From what I saw of gameplay, the story is a bit reductive, and, unless they fixed it the melee combat is a bit of a joke.
There’s dozens of us! DOZENS!
It’s like the AI Scientist experiment, run jointly by Sakana AI (Japan), University of Oxford, and University of British Columbia.
Archive dot org might have it.
As long as you’re good in and of yourself, that’s the important bit.
Clean for basically spitting distance of 20 years. Happily living my best life.
Thanks comrade, hope you’re doing as well as you can.
Yeah, it’s a motherfucker like that. Least it didn’t turn into a habit. That’s basically what happened to me, but then I wasn’t able to kick it for 2 years. Went From 280lbs to 160 in like 7 months. The thing that pulled me out was getting busted for committing a crime. And by that point I wanted out, but had no idea how to.
Only thing I’ve done that fucked my life worse than crack was meth, and only by margins that could easily be a rounding error…
Yeah, used to love bidets, then I sat down drunk and accidentally nudged it full blast full cold. The hemorrhoids I got the next day were brutal. So now I use tp cause the worst that can happen while drunk is I need to wash my hand a bit more thoroughly than usual…
I mean, it might legit be more comfortable to wipe with a pinecone or stinging nettle. So take that humble brag as you will, but sometimes the grass isn’t cushier on the other cheek.
I second this motion. All in favour?
