If it’s enforced it kind of loses it’s charm and appeal, no?

Sorry, guard-prisoner privilege.

It’s a capitalist invention and, therefore, will be used for whatever capitalists deem it profitable to be. Once the money for AI home assistants starts rolling in, then you’ll see it adopted for that purpose.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Trudeau is watching what happens with the American election and will base his decisions on that. There haven been some parallels drawn already.
I truly hate what Conservatives have done to politics in this country.
Why is working towards a cleaner and better environment such a controversial issue? They’ve turned the political landscape into an outrage theatre on what pisses people off the most.
The whole family has a history of drugs, so it’s not surprising to anyone in the GTA. His brother was the mayor of Toronto, and there was a big scandal surrounding it at one point. He ended up dying, and Doug has had a grudge against the Toronto city council. One of his first acts when he became premier was to slash the city council by like half.
Here’s a link if you’re interested
His family is rich so they got to bail him out when he did stupid stuff like selling drugs.
Doug Ford has a history of wasting taxpayers’ money and helping his buddies line their pockets with extra cash. He’s currently under investigation since he got caught selling protected land to his buddies and then rezoning it for housing afterwards, allowing the value to spike up by billions. And that’s just criticizing his corruption. He’s not a good person either. He got caught selling crack to high schoolers.
Ford accusing Singh of greed is pretty rich.
Canadian universities are expected to see international student enrolment dropping by at least 45 percent from last year, a more drastic decline than the 35 percent
They are expecting to see a 45% decline. Based on the wording, it looks to be projections rather than actual numbers?
Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t see that as a valid justification for raising prices. True, letter deliveries are down. But it’s not like Canada Post is lacking business through parcel delivery. Why can’t they combine the 2? Or have one subsidize the other.
Headline is misleading. They are expecting to see enrolment down 45%, and the article doesn’t really give much in terms of numbers other than that.
Just install Musks new nueralink and you won’t need a second phone.
Now all you need are Bluetooth enabled glasses for all those people that keep losing them.
How about home improvement? If your living situation or someone close to you, like family, allows for it why don’t you look into that? You can do things like changing lights, old doors, paunting, etc. Depending on how comfortable you are you can look into some more complex projects. They can be pretty physically demanding and you’ll be active for a long time.
Best of luck in everything, hope you find something that works for you.
First off, just looking at those pictures…Ouch. I hope they don’t hurt you OP.
Some suggestions I can think of:
If you want you can try also asking this question at the !fitness@lemmy.world community.
Are the lights attached to the side wall as opposed to the ceiling? How high are they?
Hopefully that will encourage voters to see them as a viable alternative to Liberals and Conservatives.
I’ll admit I didn’t go through that many of OPs posts when I made my original comment to you so I took a closer look. It looks like OPs titles suffer from bad grammar more than bad spelling. The only real spelling mistakes I found was “redemtion” on a few of OPs posts which can be excusable if you’re just spelling it how it sounds. I 100% agree with you people should do their best to proofread their posts, especially titles. I just don’t feel it’s justification enough to downvote someone.
A supervisor should understand the concept of respecting people’s boundaries. You could always say something like “Hey I’m not really in the mood to talk right now” or “This isn’t something I want to talk about”. Just a fair warning if you do this, you might get labeled as the odd one the same way you mentioned if you go to HR (the HR one would be a bit worse if I’m being honest).
