I personally prefer the memory safety tools offered by D over Rust. D also doesn’t come with const by default, and you can even opt out of the RAII stuff a certain graphics driver developer boasted about in the Linux developer mailings (RAII can be a bad for optimization).

Also a part of a long game of “We go low, you go high”. They are suspiciously silent about right-wing politics in media. In fact, during the whole Hogwarts Legacy drama, I found a VTuber fan, that claimed trans people should keep their politics out of VTubing, just use a voice transformer or something to hide their identity. I asked if wouldn’t the same rule of “keeping your politics out” apply to them, thus playing a game tied to a highly controversial author would be political. I paraphrase their tweets:

Could be bot activity. Whenever I check that hellsite (mostly to have enough activity, so my account won’t get deactivated and my user handle won’t fall into wrong hands), at least 20-30% of the posts have AI spam smell to them, especially from the right, also Elon Musk is boosting the right.
