Instead of having your windows float around, they perfectly snap and fill the space of the monitor depending on how many windows you have open. A new DE in alpha right now called Cosmic has both floating windows and tiling, you can change with just a toggle.

Cosmic is great so far, I run it on Fedora.

My co worker has straight gum rot, like a few millimeter layer where the gums meet their teeth that’s all whiteish green and they have horrendous breath I can smell 15 feet down wind of the AC system. Not a doctor but if you have some will try switching some meals to Soylent or another meal replacement drink. For the past ~7 years my breakfast and usually lunch has been Soylent, and I have a nice big real food meal for dinner.

It’s really easy to track calories with meal replacement drinks and at least for me it’s way healthier than what I was eating previously.

Well they do some things right but you know they are also pretty dystopian as well, trying to ban encryption so they can have total surveillance over their citizens like china and what not. Just as bad as the usa in that regard!

True, the biggest sore points of Linux is Windows software support. This probably won’t work for you because you seem to use AutoCAD for work, but for me I was able to just find alternatives to programs that were not available anymore when I switched to Linux.

Me! Switched to fedora from Windows about 3 years ago and don’t regret it one bit. Probably the best decision I’ve made in regards to personal computing in my adult life.

I would say “notoriously flakey hardware support” is a false statement these days

I’ve never had any issues like that, been running Fedora for 3 or so years now.

Oh yes I forgot at one point they were non-profit and supposed to be open source. In that case, yes this is pretty hypocritical
