Running sbc at higher bitrates than default sound subjectively better than most existing codecs. I use 552 kbit/s regulary and it sound great. Unfortunately the support for higher sbc bitrates is terrible.

Old mixtapes and such can be noisy with hizzes, pops and such. It is possible to filter out those artefacts but thats removing stuff, just as digitally compressing audio is removing stuff. You can’t create data from nowhere for digitally compressed files and you can’t simply add back the hizz, noise, and pops to the mixtapes if you remove that.
There is also the problem of sites without tracking cookies having banners just to be on the safe side.
Daily. Bought my sennheiser wired noise cancelling headphones in 2017 and they look quite rough now but still sound great and nc is still on par or better than most new headphobes. My brother and sister bought the bluetooth counterpart and both have replaced them years ago since they broke.
Meanwhile the swedish gpvernment is moving to make sympathy strikes where workers in other companies won’t work with tesla (deliver packages and similar) illegal…
Oh, the EU is still pushing through that anti-encryption shit. It didn’t go away.
So does Volvo and they haven’t done much against unions. Chinese companies seem to adapt a bit easier to wherever they do business while American companies seem hellbent waging war against themselves like tesla do now.
I see you’re on lemmy.world. Try out a Lemmy that hasn’t blocked the tankie instances for a change, it’s wild.
My over two year old a52 is buttery smooth still I don’t see the need for a switch until 2 more years. There’s a bit of junk on it but doesn’t really affect anything since I never use it, it’s all just sitting quietly in a folder.
It has honestly made me question the purpose of expensive and fragile flagship phones that I’ve been using the last decade.
He may be referring to this:
The concerns include the abuse of remote validation of software (where the manufacturer—and not the user who owns the computer system—decides what software is allowed to run) and possible ways to follow actions taken by the user being recorded in a database, in a manner that is completely undetectable to the user.
Sure. I’ve run several modern … repurposed… games and it usually works through lutris.
I’ve seen cryptospam, drugspam, generic adspam on here. Why would a political astroturfspam be a conspiracy theory?
