This is a very uninformed response that seems to be based on nothing more than “I don’t like business people.”

Like I said, they’re mostly scams. Warranty scams. Posing as “your bank” (which they, of course, don’t name). Etc. Legitimate companies follow the do not call list, since there are heavy penalties if they don’t.
A lot of people who obviously didn’t go to business school commenting on this post. Case studies make up quite a bit of business classes.
The US has a do not call list. The vast majority of robocalls are illegal scams which originate from outside of the country.
There are a ton of people who got on reddit and never got on anything else. I like to stay in contact with some of them.
I’m guessing they know how, but it’s not as quick as just glancing at it. I mean fuck I’m in my 40s but that’s true for me, too.
They look nice. Some of them anyway, not specifically school clocks which I mentally associate with “when is this day going to fucking end?” But reading a clock is not a difficult skill that takes a long time to teach.
Porn (or anything horny, explicit or not), Star Trek, vegans, communists.
Edit: this comment will piss off at least 75% of Lemmy.
It’s good if that’s what you want, but it is completely different from nova
I see it as a good thing when people make the decision to block them easy.
(It’s from The Life Aquatic)
I find people who call themselves “carnivores” every bit as tiresome as evangelical vegans.
Shrug. It’s just not particularly funny. And there’s pretty obviously a widespread effort to post vegan stuff to non-vegan subs. People have made their choices and trying to hammer them over it doesn’t change anyone’s mind. I’m just blocking the people doing it, personally.
There sure is a lot of vegan propaganda on Lemmy. It’s very annoying and not particularly memey.
I think that depends on what features you want. The thing that makes the pixel pro stand out is the cameras.
I think that’s just it, the market for day 1 flagships has shrunk, so they’re trying to get more money per unit. There’s always some people willing to pay for the newest gadget.
XKCD 149 but worse.
And for good reason, really. The supply of livers is too small to save everyone who needs them, so they give them to the people most likely to have a successful outcome. Basically every lived given to one person is sentencing another person to death. That’s just reality with supply being what it is.
