Same goes for XBox, also the Steam Deck.

Fan projects or mods should be never pre-announced, just released once they’re ready. Once it’s out there the big companies can’t stop it.
Hello, fellow IT person. One day we will need the VGA cables we have saved.
Big companies avoid risk too much, they want to make revenue, not games. I haven’t been interested in any AAA game in some 10 years. They’re all just the same open-world, microtransaction-DLC, soon-to-be advertisement platform with uninspired gameplay features.
Independent developers on the other hand are innovating and making cool and fun games.
Functional multiplayer next?
Probably because it was developed by a different company, and is completely different from the three Flatout games by Bugbear.
Enjoy, both OW and Tunic are up there in my favourite games. Return of the Obra Dinn is another good one, if you didn’t play it already.
Chasing after that same high, I bought the newest versions of Myst and Riven, never played the originals. Quite stumped in the first level of Myst. I feel like I may enjoy Riven more, but gonna try and stick with Myst first.
I am interested in the game series, but it looks like there are many points to start from. Myst 2021, realMyst Masterpiece Edition, Myst Masterpiece Edition, Riven, Riven 2024.
Seems like the starting point is a relatively controversial topic amongst fans. I thought of starting with Myst 2021, then playing the original Riven.
Eagerly waiting for the prequel “Cyberpunk 2069”.
Just downloaded this on my Deck, perfect time to try it out while sick in a hotel :/
*and Battlefield 2042
Just let him see your hentai games, say they’re “jokes” or something.
Holy shit this is amazing. This game used Games for Windows Live, it was horrendous already 15 years back. I played a shit ton of Flatout 2 as a kid, this one is essentially a better version of that one.
I really want a Håg Capisco to replace my cheap Ikea Järvfjället. Shit’s super ergonomic, I always prefer those at work.
Idk man, shooting teletubbies and shreks with funny guns as a vocaloid character while my headphones go “BOOM goes the dynamite!” every 5 seconds is still pretty fun.
I really enjoyed playing through Tunic on my Deck. I imagine Corpse Party (2021) would also be a great Deck game (I played the game before I got mine.)
Not related to Steam Deck, but this caught my eye:
As soon as we thwarted their effort, they went around to 27 different developers and offered each one a payoff to undermine any effort we had to get their games onto our store exclusively. Activision and Riot and Supercell had direct distribution plans that they were planning on; Google paid them not to pursue those plans. Just direct blatant violations of anti-competition law, it’s crazy a company of Google’s scale would do that.
So Tim is stating that Google making exclusivity deals with applications developers is breaching laws and should be stopped, but Epic having exclusivity deals on their own stores is okay and not anti-competitive. Hypocrite much, eh?
Looka real cool, wishlisted.
Played most of COCOON during a recent airplane round-trip. Also started Pocket Mirror, I got an RPG Maker fever after playing Corpse Party.
I’m so glad Valve did not give in to the tech-number-nerds who want 2K resolution on tiny screens, saves so much battery life.
