Sacrificing between modern safety / environmental standards for privacy it all sucks. If only we could have privacy laws.

Maybe it’s a distraction for cars constantly listening to you. Their privacy policies are horrid and they don’t have a mic listening feature.
I used Google lens. Got stuck afterwards on a chess rule. The captcha rule used the notation for the chess one to complicate it further haha
Who needs to do that when they are loan sharking the countries

Adding to what others said it is beneficial to load an app from RAM.
Yeah, if you swap launchers it hardly ever works when you swipe up. Recents menu has been like this forever as well and why it can stutter / looks less seamless when using a different launcher, it has to run the system laumcher to show the recents menu.
Taskbar is crap until it’s no longer baked in with the phones default launcher.
I am really glad I bought old NUCs instead of the latest for my self hosting. That being said, I wonder if this is going to cause the market to flip and the old generations to temporarily be more expensive while 13/14 generations tank?
Here is a list of open source voxel stuff of those I’d say Veloren likely would interest you the most.
I read fallout 2 in your comment and had to reread again lol
I read Fallout and was very confused.
To be fair Android does that now too with mainline and every OS upgrade they make more modules that get updated from the play store rather than OS updates.
It requires a certain security software installed on windows. Yes it is still going on since IT admins have to boot into safe mode to fix it.
The other day I got an email from spectrum
(1) change to your status
The email was an ad for their TV select service. They are scummy on every level. I had them come to fix my internet like 8 times since I get lagged out of online games hourly and sometimes every 10 minutes. I even had one say everything is fine, if I call again they’d charge me.
Absolutely can’t wait till a fiber company supports my home.
I tried 3 because of the good memories. Made it as far as toy story and lost interest.
Sure but it’s another constant background connectiom instead of using something that combines them all into one (a push server). It’s great not using Google’s push server, but I’d rather something not eat more of my phones battery when it could use my own private push server that’s already running in the background.
I see you don’t use FCM for push notifications. Are there plans fpr supporting https://unifiedpush.org/?
Edit looks like that’s a no, and ignored in bug reports and feature requests only on reddit. The email service got me interested, but not till unified push is supported
Edit realize OP is not them mixed that by reading the post haha
The reason I got the OG pixel fold was because the dimensions were very similar in size to the pixel 5 and I love it. Bigger phones than that don’t work well with my smaller than average hands. That being said I don’t like how the newer one is less wide. Also yes there are non flagship phones that are smaller, but I want pixel due to update support and their A series which tend to be smaller always lacked wireless charging which I prefer to have.
