That depends on a country. For Polish consulate it takes few days just to convert the local certificate to Polish one and get PESEL. Then and only then they order a passport that’s being printed in Poland.

Emergency passport would do here tho. Still I’d expect few days at minimum to talk to all those people.

This is what I know for a regular residents outside their home country. Did exactly this with my son. And also know it took us months to get him a passport so we could travel abroad. Must be a nightmare to have prolonged vacation from a week to few months.

So you can cross the border with a proof of birth only? No special agreement with the inbound country?

Even allowed now I would never ever modify my car firmware due to huge liability in case of any incident. Literally any insurance company figuring out you tempered with car software would try to take all the money paid for damages back from you.

Its a German GmbH. From them announcing bankruptcy to switching off the servers would take some months.

I only choose hosting that provides automated backups of VPS. And it has to be credible like Hetzner who keeps those backups in a different location.

Additionally if I have something really important I do periodical backups to my local mac that has all sort of backup processes (iCloud, Time Machine plus an extra encrypted backup that I keep on well… hetzner)
