pretty much. people think these things are promoted for no reason, or for votes alone when in truth its a powerful distraction and division tool.

it helps that linux can now run almost everything else now instead of almost nothing. the main thing is we have options now.
thank you based valve & community btw
do you think i want to use facebook or linkedin or the likes?
i use them with an adblocker. best balance to me.
exactly why i dont mind blocking ads.
not a business model i wouldnt mind not supporting and companies i wouldnt mind not depending on.
and it is used for nefarious political purposes that are undemocratic at best.
ublock origin has a few lists named “annoyances” or something that arent enabled by default.
enabling them gets rid of almost all of the popups and i cant live without it anymore.
this includes cookie nags and all the miscellaneous stuff they throw at you.
we pay with our data already
the internet is insufferable without it, and many people (including some IT people) seem to not even mind it. it blows my mind.
elementaryos is made for that sort of thing, its quite simple and friendly and you need to poke around it to get it to even be able to do more ‘advanced’ stuff. its among the most polished DEs ive seen design and user-experience wise.
and it is still linux so you can disable or otherwise restrict their user account from anything you don’t want them meddling with. like the settings app and stuff, try it out on a VM and you will get what i mean.
oh its based off of ubuntu lts so its solid
i think id rather have the slightly worse option than to bother with accounts for every desktop app
when will this shit be cracked.
or the us, isnt it easy to just get a regular gun in there?
i hope you find it. if its a common problem like “hey its a specific component or set of components that always blows out on these” you are probably in luck.
they can pass emissions if properly configured. they can perform exactly like the original ECU if tuned well, if a tiny bit better.
they don’t do OBD2 tests in my country though, only the pipe emissions test, so im not sure about that. saving a working original just for these tests is an option.
at this point your only reasonable choice is a programmable ecu.
you could maybe get a cheap one and a usable tune for that price? idk.
having to hack around your IDE for something that simple is a real bad sign
lol the us is the one who made taliban what it is
you just need to do that once
its where you store all your porn?
im not against paid for stuff per se
also how they are used as backdoors nowadays
