People are usually afraid of something they don’t understand. You’re so hyper focused on a few political issues that you are not seeing the enormous benefits this and other technology can have for all of humanity.
Who cares about the owner and how he’s making money. Everyone dies, he will be dead eventually. Technology lives on. Don’t be regressive.
It’s a literal national security threat to become dependent on starling, as demonstrated in Ukraine. We can build our own networks and support other LEO internet projects.
The technology is not at peril here, Starlink the company is. Competitors exist, and they’ll take Starlink’s place, and the technology will live on. Competition is what’s to like about capitalism, isn’t it?
